Dargawan is a small village of 638 hectares in Mandrail Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dargawan depends on SABALGARH (MP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 39.23% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dargawan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dargawan's pin code is 322251[4], and village code is 01242700. The area of Dargawan is segregated as 39.23 hectares irrigated area, 408.07 hectares unirrigated, the 104.49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 66.33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SABALGARH (MP) and Karauli to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
