Dar Barahna is a small village of 1537 hectares in Bayana Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dar Barahna depends on Bayana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dar Barahna is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dar Barahna's pin code is 321405[4], and village code is 01083400. The area of Dar Barahna is segregated as 32 hectares irrigated area, 311 hectares unirrigated, the 23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28 hectare area not available for cultivation.
