Danta is a small village of 147 hectares in Sangod Tehsil in Kota district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Danta depends on HINDAUN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 35.16% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Danta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Danta's pin code is 322230[4], and village code is 01191900. The area of Danta is segregated as 75.96 hectares irrigated area, 57.64 hectares unirrigated, the 13.65 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of HINDAUN and Karauli to sell earthen pots and make their living.
