Danta is a small village of 870 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Danta depends on Nasirabad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 160.74% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Danta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Danta's pin code is 305023[4], and village code is 02507200. The area of Danta is segregated as 181.58 hectares irrigated area, 158.32 hectares unirrigated, the 177 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 295.99 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Danta is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 753 and has total administration over 184 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nasirabad and Ajmer to sell earthen pot and make their living.
