Daniella Zamir (born 1983) is an Israeli literary translator of contemporary fiction. She won the 2023 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature for her translation of ‘’Jerusalem Beach‘’ by Iddo Gefen.[1]

Biography

Daniella Zamir was born in Israel in 1983. She obtained her bachelor's degree in literature from Tel Aviv University, and her master's degree in creative writing from City, University of London.[2] [3]

Zamir has translated a number of Hebrew language books into English, including those by Dov Alfon, Sarah Blau, Hila Blum, Iddo Gefen and Michal Ben-Naftali.

Zamir is the sister of Israeli diplomat and politician Asaf Zamir. Her uncle is Yitzhak Zamir, a former Israeli supreme court judge.
