Daniel Tobok is the founder and CEO of CYPFER, a cybersecurity and incident response firm.[citation needed] With over two decades of experience in the field, Tobok has contributed to the global cybersecurity landscape, focusing on digital forensics, cybercrime, and ransomware.[1]
In 2023, Sarah, Duchess of York appointed Tobok as Chief Digital Security Advisor to oversee digital security efforts across global platforms.[2]
Career
Daniel Tobok began his career in cybersecurity in the late 1990s, working in various roles that exposed him to the changing landscape of digital threats. He became known for his work in digital forensics, assisting organizations in recovering from cyberattacks and securing their digital assets.[3]
In 2001, Tobok launched a boutique advisory firm, which he later sold. In 2005, he founded Digital Wyzdom, which was eventually acquired by TELUS, where Daniel then led the strategy for their Digital Forensics and Security Consulting division.[4]
