Daniel LaBelle (born August 22, 1987)[2] is an American comedian, photographer, athlete, and internet personality. LaBelle specializes in creating short physical comedy sketches[3] hoping to uplift viewers.[1]

Early life and education

Daniel LaBelle was born on August 22, 1987 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.[2] At age 3, he started drawing and later took painting classes in high school.[2][4] He attended John Brown University and received a bachelor's degree in digital media.[2][5]

LaBelle ran his own photography business called Daniel LaBelle Photography,[4][5][6] where he photographed wedding pictures.[7]

Internet career

LaBelle's YouTube channel was launched in 2009.[1] His first video was a custom commercial for Kleenex.[8]

LaBelle joined TikTok to help his photography business. He went viral when he posted a video posing as a little kid posing for a picture, which garnered a million views in a day.[7] He later found success in making physical comedy skits with friends. He is inspired by comedians such as Rowan Atkinson, Curly Howard, Lou Costello, etc.[6][9]
