Daniel Ademinokan who started his career in Nigeria in 1998 as a screenwriter, always had his eye on directing[1]. Daniel grew up as a child musician, playing a wide array of instruments, touring with popular musicians as a teenager.[2]

Having won several awards for his works as a Director, he is also a seasoned cinematographer, writer, editor, motion graphics animator, producer, songwriter, musician, and music producer,[3] as demonstrated with his work on Season 8 of the Shuga (TV Series) series, where he is credited as Director[4], Cinematographer[5], Composer[6] and Music Supervisor[7]. Co-founder of Index Two Studios, MonAfrik TV and i2radio.net,[8] Daniel teaches filmmaking and directing at the Digital Film Academy in New York.

Personal life

Daniel was married to actress Doris Simeon with whom he has a son, David Ademinokan[9]. His second marriage to Nigerian actress and widow of Jaiye Aboderin, Stella Damasus in 2013, generated a lot of controversy.[10]
