Dangiyawas is a small village of 2498 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dangiyawas depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dangiyawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Dangiyawas's pin code is 342027[4], and village code is 01968200. The area of Dangiyawas is segregated as 2300 hectares unirrigated, the 145.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52 hectare area not available for cultivation.
