Dangarthal is a small village of 3014 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dangarthal depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 438.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dangarthal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dangarthal's pin code is 304021[4], and village code is 02616300. The area of Dangarthal is segregated as 1153 hectares irrigated area, 776 hectares unirrigated, the 970 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 115 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Niwai and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
