Dang Ka Was is a small village of 122 hectares in Kumbhalgarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dang Ka Was depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dang Ka Was is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dang Ka Was's pin code is 313321[4], and village code is 03010400. The area of Dang Ka Was is segregated as 15 hectares irrigated area, 30 hectares unirrigated, the 3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.
