Danakshari is a small village of 466 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Danakshari depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Danakshari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Danakshari's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03437600. The area of Danakshari is segregated as 11 hectares irrigated area, 159 hectares unirrigated, the 73 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 116 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
