Hades started playing shows in Paramus, NJ, opening for Twisted Sister at the Soap Factory in 1982[10] and recorded two songs for Megaforce Records' Born To Metalize[11] compilation released in 1984. In 1985, vocalist Alan Tecchio, Guitarist Scott LePage, and bassist Jimmy Schulman joined the band and along with Dan and drummer Tom Coombs, self-released The Cross/Widow's Mite single in 1986[12]. In 1986 the band signed with Torrid Records and released their debut album, Resisting Success[13] in 1987 and the follow up, If At First You Don't Succeed[14] in 1988. The band broke up for the first time after their 1989 European headlining tour[15].

Lorenzo formed https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-Fiction_%28Band%29 Non-Fiction with Dan Nastasi from Mucky Pup and Dog Eat Dog, releasing an EP on Arena Records in 1990, a label owned by Glen Evans from Nuclear Assault. Alan Tecchio re-joined Dan in Non-Fiction and the band released their debut album, Preface, on Grand Slamm Records in 1991 and their sophomore album, In The Know, in 1992 then toured Europe with Overkill on the "World of Hurt Tour" in 1993.

Hades released the full-length album Exist to Resist in 1995, made up of primarily songs written before the 1989 breakup[16].

Non-Fiction's third and final album, It's A Wonderful Lie... was released on Steamhammer Records in 1996[17]

Hades reunited in the late 1990s and went on to release three albums on Metal Blade Records, $avior$elf in 1999, The Downside in 2000 and DamNation[18] in 2001, playing shows up and down the East Coast before splitting up again shortly thereafter.

Lorenzo then formed The Cursed[19] with Bobby Elsworth of Overkill [20], releasing one album, Room Full of Sinners[21] on Screaming Ferret Wreckords in 2007.

In 2007 Lorenzo launched a weekly Internet radio show called "F-Bombs for Everyone" on Bionic Strigl Radio/Live365. The show lasted approximately six months before going off the air[22].

In 2017 Lorenzo formed the band Vessel of Light with vocalist Nathan Opposition (Ancient Wisdom), bassist Jimmy Schulman (Hades, ex-Attacker), and drummer Ron Lipnicki (Hades, ex-Overkill) [23], releasing a self-titled EP the same year and their debut full-length Woodshed in 2018, both on Argonauta Records. Vessel of Light's sophomore album, Thy Serpent Rise, was released in 2019 and their third album, Last Ride, in 2020 both on Nomad Eel Records.
