Damir Markovina (born 1973 in Belgrade[1]) is a Croatian actor.[1] He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2000.[1] He has been a member of the Drama Ensemble of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb since 2002.[1] He received the Marin Držić Award for his play "Paščad" in 2016.[2] His documentary film "Wait for Me" won several awards.[3] At Al Jazeera Documentary Industry Days 2023, his documentary project called Another film about war, father and home, won three awards.[4]
