She gained recognition for her roles in the Kannada television serials Brundavana on Colors Kannada and Brahmagantu 2 on Zee Kannada. She has also appeared in the Kannada film Sukanthya and the Hindi film That Night.

Damini Dandalli was born in Suntikoppa, Kodagu district, Karnataka, India. She is the daughter of Mohan Dandalli and Mani Dandalli. She has one sister, Darshini Dandalli, and a brother.[1]
