Daman is a small village of 2252 hectares in Bagora Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Daman depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 203.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Daman is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Daman's pin code is 343030[4], and village code is 02310500. The area of Daman is segregated as 406 hectares irrigated area, 943 hectares unirrigated, the 105 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 798.21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
