Dahmi Kalan is a small village of 914 hectares in Sanganer Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dahmi Kalan depends on Bagru, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 351.94% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dahmi Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dahmi Kalan's pin code is 303007[4], and village code is 01543000. The area of Dahmi Kalan is segregated as 351.94 hectares irrigated area, 249.41 hectares unirrigated, the 244.01 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 68.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bagru and Jaipur to sell rope and make their living.
