Dahi Khera is a small village of 656 hectares in Aklera Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dahi Khera depends on Jhalawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dahi Khera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dahi Khera's pin code is 326033[4], and village code is 03981900. The area of Dahi Khera is segregated as 465.59 hectares irrigated area, 97.64 hectares unirrigated, the 58.81 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34.23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
