Dahawa is a small village of 334 hectares in Mahasi Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dahawa depends on BADAWAPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dahawa's pin code is 271825[4], and village code is 06485800. The area of Dahawa is segregated as 140 hectares irrigated area, 5.053 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 23.483 hectare area not available for cultivation.
