Dadra is a small village of 723 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dadra depends on Zaidpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dadra's pin code is 225412[4], and village code is 05783700. The area of Dadra is segregated as 17.759 hectares irrigated area. the 9.001 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 9.908 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Zaidpur (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
