Dadoorewala is a small village of 16552 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dadoorewala depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Dadoorewala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. Dadoorewala's pin code is 345028[4], and village code is 02045200. The area of Dadoorewala is segregated as 62.98 hectares irrigated area, 0.5 hectares unirrigated, the 16079.63 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 105.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.
