Dadar is a small village of 608 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dadar depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 124.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dadar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dadar's pin code is 301001[4], and village code is 00856300. The area of Dadar is segregated as 414 hectares irrigated area, 111 hectares unirrigated, the 34 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dadar has One post office (Burja B.O) and Twenty Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Dadar is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3569 and has total administration over 656 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell bricks making and make their living.
