Dabal is a small village of 823 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dabal depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 21.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dabal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dabal's pin code is 326036[4], and village code is 04097300. The area of Dabal is segregated as 202 hectares irrigated area, 351 hectares unirrigated, the 146.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 124.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalrapatan and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
