Da'Vonne Rogers is a television personality, actress, and acting coach most known for being a contestant on the U.S. version of reality game show competition Big Brother (American TV series)r on CBS. Her first television appearance was on the Big Brother 17 (American season) in 2015.

In 2015, Rogers made her television debut on Big Brother 17 (American season). She was the second houseguest evicted. [1] Even though she stayed for a short period, Rogers was involved in several noteworthy moments including: having immunity for Week 1 after sitting out of the first Head of Household competition, was able to block three houseguests from voting in the Week 2 eviction, and, most notably, was the first houseguest to discover the twin twist when she noticed subtle differences between identical twin sisters (Liz and Julia Nolan) playing as one houseguest for the first five weeks.

Big Brother 18

In a twist, Rogers re-entered the house the following summer on Big Brother 18 (American season)|Big Brother 18 with three other former houseguests (Frank Eudy, Nicole Franzel, and James Huling).[2] She survived eviction in Week 4 after becoming a replacement nominee post-veto. She was ultimately evicted on Day 51, became the first member of the jury, and cast her vote for Franzel to win.

Big Brother 22: All-Stars

In 2020, Rogers made her third appearance in the franchise when she returned for Big Brother 22 (American season)|Big Brother 22 for the shows second installment of All-Stars. Again, she was evicted on Day 51, became the second member of the jury, and cast her vote for Cody Calafiore to win. In the final episode, an emotional Rogers became the first black houseguest to receive the most votes by the audience to be crowned America’s Favorite Houseguest and the $25,000 prize that comes with it.[3] She narrowly defeated Big Brother 2 (American season)|Big Brother 20 runner-up, Tyler Crispin, who had previously won the fan favorite vote in 2018.[4]

In 2021, at the conclusion of Big Brother 23 (American season)|Big Brother 23, Rogers expressed joy for the first ever black winner of the main series but that it also concluded her personal investment with the franchise.[5]

The Challenge

The Challenge: Final Reckoning

In 2018, Rogers made her debut on The Challenge (TV series)|The Challenge for its thirty-fourth season, The Challenge: Final Reckoning. Her teammate for the season was fellow Big Brother 18 cast member, Jozea Flores. As they were both new to the show, the two rookies were an early target and were eliminated in episode 1. In a twist, there were opportunities for eliminated teams to re-enter the game by winning a redemption challenge. In episode 4, Rogers and Flores won the first redemption challenge (against fellow Big Brother 18 (American season)|Big Brother 18 List of Big Brother (American TV series) houseguests|cast members, Paulie Calafiore and Natalie Negrotti) and returned to the game only to be eliminated for a second time in episode 9.[6] In episode 10, Rogers and Flores won the second redemption challenge (against Calafiore and Negrotti a second time) and returned to the game again in episode 10 but were later eliminated for a third time in episode 13. Rogers and Flores were permanently eliminated from the game in episode 15 when they were not chosen to compete in the third redemption challenge. Rogers and Flores finished in 9th place.

The Challenge: War of the Worlds

In 2019, Rogers returned to compete in The Challenge: War of the Worlds. For the first 9 episodes the contestants played in pairs; Rogers’ teammate during this phase of the game was Celebrity Big Brother (British series 18)|Celebrity Big Brother 18 UK winner, Stephen Bear. Together, they won two eliminations before all team pairs were disbanded in episode 10. Rogers won her third elimination round (the final elimination round of the season) in episode 14. Later that episode, she was automatically eliminated when she finished in last place in the final challenge game of the season. She finished again in 9th place.

Rogers has a daughter, Kadence.[7]
