Ravi Kumar Sharma (born 3 August 1987), professionally known as, DJ Ravish, is an Indian music producer, composer, remixer from Nagaon, Assam. He is well known for his popular remixes for Bollywood tracks.[1].
Career
Ravish started his career DJing in private weddings right after graduating school in 2005. Later, He started producing music under "DJ Ravish" alias and eventually led to remixing popular Hindi tracks. He started by making many live music mixes on his YouTube channel. These mixes were watched over 10 million times. After that, he began to share his own remixes on the same YouTube channel, he currently has over 400-600+ Club Mixes and remixes on his Channel [2][3].
His remixes "Ya Habibi, Saami Saami, Subha Hone Na De, Jumma Chumma De De" rose to popularity through his YouTube Channel. Later, His remixes were signed to major Indian record labels like T-Series, Eros Now, Aditya Music and more.
He was primarily popular for his performances at clubs, cricket events, college events such as in IIM-Bodh Gaya's Elegante 6.0, a four day festival [4][5].
He was the headliner DJ for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL from 2013 to 2019 and for the 2nd ODI between India and Australia in October of the same year. In 2014, DJ Ravish performed as the in-stadium DJ for the Pakistan vs. Australia cricket series and the Pakistan vs. New Zealand cricket series, both of which were held in Dubai [6][7].
In 2016, He opened for Edward Maya during his India Tour at ITC, Bellavista [8].
He was consecutively Awarded as Best DJ of Rajasthan at Rajasthan Fashion Awards for 2018, 2019 , 2020, 2021 & 2022 [9].
He ranked in the Loofre Power List of the Top 100 DJs in India for two consecutive years, 2019 and 2020 [10][11].
He was featured on Bobby Friction's show on BBC Asian Network [12][13].
In 2024, He released his track "Jaane Kyu" with actress Deepika Singh, which got significant popularity within the first week of release [14][15]
