D.A. Kalpaja is the Chairperson of Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre [1]; It is an independent medical institute dedicated to education, research and patient care.VIMS was established in 2000. She was elected as a Director first; later, she become the Chairperson of Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre.
Early life and education
Kalpaja born on 28/04/1971 in Chittoor. She obtained her post-graduation from California State University. She is the Daughter of D. K. Adikesavulu Naidu, and she has two siblings Srinivas, Tejeshwari Srinivasamurthy.
She has two siblinga Srinivas,Tejeshwari Srinivasamurthy. Father, D. K. Adikesavulu Naidu , Director of Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences the family still responsible for Vydehi.
Career
Kalpaja joined Vydehi Hospital as a director before being promoted as chairperson of VIMS. She provides principal leadership and administrative control of various educational institutions, including Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Vydehi Institute of Dental Sciences, Nursing sciences and Srinivasa Institute of Technology & Management Studies. She is also the Director of Vydehi Hospital, Mallya Hospital and Mallya Pharmacy.
