Cruz Abelita (born 19 March 2009) is an American actor and television personality best known for his appearances in Dolly Parton's Netflix movie "Christmas on the Square", and the Lionsgate TV series "Step Up.”[1][2] Hailing from Atlanta,[3] Georgia, Abelita rose to popularity with his Hollowood debut in Words on Bathroom Walls.[4][5][6]
His primary appearance is on STARZ's Step Up[7] where he plays the role of Justin in Seasons 1 and 2, and Season 3 will be available shortly.[8] His current talent agency is Coast to Coast, and his manager is Crackerjack Management.[9]
Biography
Abelita was born on 19 March 2009 to Sean and Amanda Abelita in Columbus, Ohio. He attended an acting camp at age six and realized his passion for acting.[10][11] In the same year, Abelita signed with East Coast Talent in Atlanta and Coast to Coast Agency in LA. He also signed with Crackerjack Management as his Manager.[12][13][14][15] Abelita debuted in his first studio film at the age of 10 with his appearance in Words on Bathroom Walls, a feature film in which he played the role of Danny.[16][17]
Abelita has also starred in a number of short films, videos, documentaries, and TV series including The Big Fun Crafty Show, Kelly Talk Show, It's Supernatural, and Jumanji: The Next Level to name a few. Other prominent appearances of Abelita can be witnessed in Christmas on the Square and Fatima.[18][19]
