Corjuem is a small village of 488 hectares in Bardez Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Corjuem depends on ALDONA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Corjuem is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Corjuem's pin code is 403508[5], and village code is 00005000. The area of Corjuem is segregated as 5.15 hectares irrigated area, 308.21 hectares unirrigated, the 9.18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 165.72 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Corjuem has One post office (Corjuim B.O) and Two public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Corjuem has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Corjuem is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 2725 and has total administration over 640 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ALDONA and North Goa to sell country liquor and make their living.
