College Inn Hotel
College Inn Hotel has provided its guests with a budget-friendly hotel experience in the heart on the campus of the University of Washington.
The historic College Inn building (f.k.a. Ye College Inn) that houses the hotel is on the National Record of Historic Places and shares its June 1, 1909 birthday with the opening of the Alaska–Yukon–Pacific Exposition World’s Fair in Seattle. The AYP Exposition was organized in celebration of Seattle’s rapid rise in prosperity, a result of being the gateway to the gold rush in the Yukon through Alaska. The College Inn has an iconic Tudor Revival exterior, designed by the architects Graham & Myers, and was originally built as a hotel for the visitors to Exposition, and continues in the capacity today. The College Inn Hotel underwent extensive interior renovations to modernize its guest amenities in 2019 & 2020, but continues to maintain its historic character. The College Inn Hotel occupies the top three floors of the College Inn building and is complemented by the convenience of three cafes on the street-level and an the famous College Inn Pub in the cellar of the same building.
