Cody Dwayne Powers (born October 20, 1992)is an American freestyle wrestler and graduated folkstyle wrestler. A two-time NCAA Division II National Champion for Lindenwood University.[2]
High school career
He was a two-time UIL[3](Texas) state champion for Cypress Creek High School[4]in Cypress, Texas, where he went 137-22 in his High School career.
College career
Cody earned All-American honors as a true freshman at Lindenwood University in 2012 (7th at 197).[5] and redshirted the 2012-13 season to preserve his NCAA eligibility. While there he was then a three-time All-American for the Lions, twice a national champion (2015 & 2016) and once a runner-up (2014), while competing at the 197 lb lb. division.
