Security in the cloud, often known as cloud computing security or just cloud security, refers to a comprehensive collection of rules, technologies, applications, and controls that are utilised to safeguard virtualized intellectual property (IP), data, applications, services, and the related infrastructure of cloud computing. It may be thought of as a subfield of computer security, network security, and, more generally speaking, information security.
