CVC is a firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultancy based in Malaysia. The abbreviation CVC stands for City Valuers & Consultants Sdn Bhd. It is also a firm registered with the The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers, Malaysia (BOVAEP).

History

City Valuers & Consultants Sdn Bhd was founded in 1982 in Kuala Lumpur by two Chartered Valuation Surveyors from the Ministry of Finance, Valuation and Property Services Department (JPPH) specialising in corporate valuations[1]. The company office was based in Bangsar of Kuala Lumpur.

In 2001, the company has expanded its presence to East Malaysia with a new branch in Kuching, Malaysia.

In 2003, the company has expanded its presence to Northern Region of Malaysia with a new branch in Penang. The company has also formed an associateship with an associate firm in South Malaysia region in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

In 2004, the company formalise its key offerings by the formation of the Market Research & Feasibility Studies Department.

In 2007, the company subsequently formalise its real estate services by the formation of the Real Estate Agency Department.

In 2012, the company moved its operations to its own office premises in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

In 2013, the company formalise its management services by the formation of the Property Management Department.

In 2015, the company secured the practising license for Business Valuations.

In 2021, the company undergone a re-branding exercise and has since been known as CVC.
