Christos Politis (Greek: Χρήστος Πολίτης) is an engineer, academic and entrepreneur. He is Professor and Chair of Digital Technologies at Kingston University London, known for his research in Wi-Fi networks, 4G/5G/6G communications systems, emergency and resilient networks, and e-health systems and platforms. Politis has published over 230 peer-reviewed articles and holds two patents, and has led several EU and UK-funded research and industrial projects in these technology domains.[1] He is also the founder and Chief Technology Officer of Ubitech Ltd, a technology start-up developing digital health and rehabilitation platforms.[2] Politis is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Chartered Engineer (CEng) in the United Kingdom.[3]

Research

Politis’s research spans wireless systems (Wi-Fi and IoT), next-generation mobile networks (4G/5G/6G), secure and resilient emergency communications, and AI-assisted rehabilitative games.[3][1][4]

Entrepreneurship and business

Politis is founder and director of Ubitech Ltd, a digital-health start-up developing AI-enhanced gaming platforms for the rehabilitation of neurodivergent patients.[2]
