Christopher Hubbard is an American inventor and businessman who is known for inventing a reusable oil filter, now known as the Hubb filter.[1][2]

Career

Christopher has served in the US Army, where he worked at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID).[3]

In 2004, he founded Hubb Filters, a company based in Corte Madera, California.[4] As a car enthusiast, Christopher was frustrated by the inefficiency and unfavorable effects of traditional oil filters, so he invented a new filter, made of stainless steel mesh, that can capture particles measuring 5 microns.[4] Motormindz is an investor in Hubb Filters.[4]

In 2016, Hubb filter received Design Excellence award.[5]
