Christiane Tietz (born April 20, 1967) is a German protestant theologian and leading church president in Hesse.

Life

Tietz was born in Frankfurt am Main. She studied Protestant theology and mathematics in Frankfurt am Main and in Tübingen. From 2013 to she worked as professor for theology at university in Zürich, Switzerland.[1] [2] Since January 2025 Tietz is Kirchenpresident of Protestant Church in Hesse and Nassau. [3][4][5][6]
