Christian Schulte-Loh (born 1979 in Haltern, Germany) is an internationally working stand-up comedian and novelist from Germany. He lives in London and Berlin.

Career

Originally from Germany, Christian Schulte-Loh started his stand-up career during an Erasmus semester abroad in 2002[1]. His first gig was in English at a comedy club in Belgium. He has since performed in more than 30 countries. In 2009 he first appeared at The Edinburgh Fringe, where he can now be seen regularly. [2]

The Spectator called him "one of the most subversive acts ever".[3]

After moving to London in 2009 he quickly established himself as a successful comedian on the British comedy circuit, working for all major clubs. In the UK he is represented by The Comedy Store.[4]

Christian Schulte-Loh is also a regular on German television[5] and has published two books in his native language.[6][7] He performs in both English and German.
