Christian Anthony Figueroa is an American journalist, activist, and business leader most well known as being an anchor for KGEM-TV[1] and the Founder of Information Tech Teenagers[2]. He is known to be an active youth activist in Southern California.

Early life and education

Born in California, Figueroa grew up in the San Gabriel Valley where he began his activist and non-profit career. He attends high school at Bosco Tech in Rosemead, California and will attend Stanford University in the Fall of 2023 to pursue his undergraduate education.

Journalist career

Figueroa broadcasts Monrovia City Council meeting recaps for his local news network, KGEM-TV[3]. He utilizes social media to communicate with his community, and has written Op-ed|op-eds for national publications, including America Magazine’s Outreach[4].

Activist career

At an early age, Figueroa got involved in local and national politics. He serves as a committee member on his local Democratic club's Refugee Task Force, working closely with those seeking new opportunities in the United States. Christian has volunteered on multiple national, state, and city-wide campaigns, including: Joe Biden for President 2020, Vote No To Recall Gavin Newsom 2021, Sashary Zaroyan for Monrovia City Council 2022, Karen Bass for L.A. Mayor 2022, Vote Yes To State of CA Prop 1, and Adam Schiff for U.S. Senate 2024.

Business career

Figueroa is known to be an entrepreneur, founding successful tech support company Information Tech Teenagers[2]. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Figueroa created a free tech support service that provided technology services to his community[5].
