Chris Rossi
Chris Rossi is an American screenwriter, producer, playwright, actor, voice actor, and director. He is best known for writing the Reed Morano-directed film Meadowland (film)[1][2][3][4] and the 2019 film Adolescence.[5][6] As an actor, Rossi is known for playing voice roles in the video games Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath.[7]
Career
In 2010, Rossi wrote a script for a drama film titled Lives of the Saints, which he was also set to direct with a cast that included Meg Ryan, John Lithgow, 50 Cent, and Kat Dennings.[8]
In 2012, Rossi’s script for the sci-fi thriller film Day 38 was sold to Syfy Films as McG’s Wonderland Sound & Vision entered negotiations to produce the film.[9][10]
One of Rossi’s short plays was published in the 2015 collection I Might Be the Person You Are Talking To, which was published by Padua Playwrights.[11]
Rossi wrote the script for the drama thriller film Meadowland (film), which starred Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson and was released in 2015.[12][13][14]
Rossi also co-wrote the script for the coming-of-age drama film Adolescence, which was directed by Ashley Avis and starred India Eisley.[6] In 2019, Rossi was attached to co-produce, write, and direct the thriller Driver, which he would produce alongside Gary Lennon.[3]
Personal life
Rossi is married to actress Anna Khaja.[15]
