Later that year they announced plans to open a Las Vegas version of Light, "modeled on" the New York club, in Las Vegas,[11] which opened in 2002.[12] In 2003, Barish and investors launched Caramel, a New York City-style nightclub in The Bellagio in Las Vegas.[13] Barish's other nightclub investments included the Marquee in New York's Chelsea neighborhood.[14] Vanity Fairincluded Barish and his partners in a photo spread of noteworthy nightclub owners and impresarios of New York, "Kings and Queens of Clubs" in April 2004.[15]
