Chraiya is a small village of 7 hectares in Fatehpur Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chraiya depends on balhara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chraiya's pin code is 225305[4], and village code is 05700300. The area of Chraiya is segregated as 95 hectares irrigated area, 29 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chraiya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of balhara and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
