Choragaon is a small village of 345 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Choragaon depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Choragaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Choragaon's pin code is 322203[4], and village code is 01251300. The area of Choragaon is segregated as 248.96 hectares irrigated area, 11.97 hectares unirrigated, the 35.86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 47.91 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GANGAPUR CITY and Karauli to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
