Chora Khari is a small village of 1232 hectares in Shahbad Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chora Khari depends on Shivpuri (M.P.), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chora Khari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chora Khari's pin code is 325217[4], and village code is 03921100. The area of Chora Khari is segregated as 65 hectares irrigated area, 35 hectares unirrigated, the 68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 414 hectare area not available for cultivation.
