Chonny Jash is an independent Australian musician, best known for his covers of Tally Hall songs[1] and his album Chonny's Charming Chaos Compendium, Vol. 1.[2] Many of his covers add instruments, lyrics, or entire segments.

His most popular songs on YouTube[3] include a cover of The Bidding and a three-part cover of The Mind Electric, which was originally a song by Miracle Musical, Joe Hawley's side project. Chonny's cover envisions three characters in "The Heart Acoustic", "The Mind Electric", and "The Soul Eclectic". The Heart and The Mind's songs are their criticisms and insults towards each other, while The Soul threatens to kill all of them if they won't stop fighting.[4]

His most recent album (As of 27 June 2023) is Gothic Whore, or The Novel Lyric Hunt.[5]

His name is a spoonerism for Johnny Cash.
