Chong Keat Aun, (born 14 February 1978) an award-winning Malaysian writer-director. His directorial debut The Story of Southern Islet won the Best New Director, FIPRESCI, NETPAC awards at the 57th Golden Horse Awards. [1] In 2023, Snow in Midsummer was shortlisted for Giornate degli Autori at the Venice International Film Festival. [2]
