Chomu is a small village of 1370 hectares in Didwana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chomu depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chomu is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chomu's pin code is 341317[4], and village code is 01772700. The area of Chomu is segregated as 1254.89 hectares unirrigated, remaining 114.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.
