Chittauriya is a small village of 400 hectares in Rawatbhata Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chittauriya depends on Kapasan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 32.16% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chittauriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chittauriya's pin code is 323307[4], and village code is 03533100. The area of Chittauriya is segregated as 57.3 hectares irrigated area, 171.1 hectares unirrigated, the 92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 80.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.
