Chitrodi is a small village of 517 hectares in Raniwara Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chitrodi depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 48.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chitrodi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chitrodi's pin code is 343049[4], and village code is 02334900. The area of Chitrodi is segregated as 148 hectares irrigated area, 30 hectares unirrigated, the 18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 318.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chitrodi is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1913 and has total administration over 347 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
