Chitoriya is a small village of 193 hectares in Mandalgarh Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chitoriya depends on Asind, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chitoriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chitoriya's pin code is 311604[4], and village code is 02790800. The area of Chitoriya is segregated as 28.6 hectares irrigated area, 37.12 hectares unirrigated, the 48.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 79.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Asind and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
