Chitausa is a small village of 572 hectares in Buhana Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chitausa depends on CHIRAWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 217.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chitausa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chitausa's pin code is 333516[4], and village code is 00720500. The area of Chitausa is segregated as 217 hectares irrigated area, 280 hectares unirrigated, the 58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chitausa is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1771 and has total administration over 347 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CHIRAWA and Jhunjhunu to sell earthen pot and make their living.
