Chiroj is a small village of 1066 hectares in Tonk Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chiroj depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 50.50% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Chiroj is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chiroj's pin code is 304001[4], and village code is 02634400. The area of Chiroj is segregated as 356.9 hectares irrigated area, 346 hectares unirrigated, the 103.05 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 184.9 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
